Overview
Enviropipes perforated pipe are manufactured from HDPE in accordance with AS 2439 and/or the customer specification.
Enviropipes perforated pipes have a SN8 stiffness rating, and are WaterMark certified to AS/NZS 5065 as an acceptable solution to buried stormwater drainage pipes in accordance with the national construction code.
Enviropipes perforated pipes are made from HDPE which use EPDM rubber ring joints making them safe for use with potable water, and has excellent resistance both internally and externally to protect against aggressive soils and chemicals, please peruse our chemical resistance chart for your information.

Sub Soil Drainage
Sub-soil drainage systems use a flexible corrugated drainage pipe with perforations along its length to allow surface water to infiltrate. Ideal for ground areas with insufficient natural drainage such as road verges or lawns, a sub soil drain prevents the ground becoming waterlogged and promotes conditions suitable for plant growth.
Typically, this product is utilised in the following applications:
Roads and highway verges
Sporting ovals
Golf courses
Parks and gardens
Prevention or reduction of salinity
Reduction in waterlogging soil

Reduction in waterlogging soil
In fine sand or coarse silt soils, a filter sock can be provided to restrict the movement of sediment into the drain. Filter socks can be supplied separately or fitted onto the coil.
Features of the filter sock are:
Exceptional dimensional stability and low pore size
High tear strength, high tensile strength
Resistant to mildew, moisture or rotting
Good resistance to most chemicals
High permeability to air and water

Leachate Collection
Good environmental practices in landfill, tailings and containment ponds are essential to prevent unnecessary degradation of the world’s water, air and land resources.
Enviropipes perforated pipes in diameters greater than 150mm are typically perforated to the customer’s specifications. Applications typically include:
Leachate collection pipework
Tailings drainage systems
Seepage Pipes

Jointing
EnviroSewer® Pipes are rubber ring jointed and each pipe is supplied with an EPDM rubber seal.
The following procedure is recommended when jointing EnviroSewer® pipes.
Important information for rubber orientation and cutting of Enviropipes Corrugated pipe from 225-900mm (Please contact your nearest Enviropipes branch for cutting of all other sizes)
- During installation if the pipes need to be cut to special lengths make sure cuts are made to the centre of the valley only, also make sure to seal the airways before installing (this applies to sizes between 225-900mm only contact your nearest Enviropipes branch for cutting of all other sizes)
- Install rubber in the correct orientation (as per below picture) in the last valley of the pipe and make sure surfaces are clean and lubricated with approved Enviropipes lubricant.
- Rubber notches should be installed in line with the airway of the pipe to avoid any leaks after compressing the rubber into the socket
