Enviropipes stock full-face gaskets made from NBR, EPDM or CNAF as defined below.  The purpose of the gasket is to provide a sacrificial surface for flange faces to press against in a pipe joint. Gaskets are rated for varying pressures, fluids and temperatures due to the compatibility of the material. The stock materials from Enviro Pipes are as follows

NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber)

NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) gaskets are suitable for applications requiring excellent resistance to petrochemicals within a temperature range of approximately -40°C to 120°C. Maximum allowable pressure is 1000kPa.

EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer)

EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) gaskets are suitable for a wide range of applications due to their excellent resistance to many chemicals and able to be WRAS and WaterMark certified for contact with potable water, and are able to operate within a temperature range of -40°C to +150°C and up to 1000kPa internal pressure.

CNAF (Compressed Non-Asbestos Fiber)

CNAF (Compressed Non-Asbestos Fiber) gaskets are generally made from a binder and a filler. These gaskets are made of inorganic (non-asbestos) fibres with a nitrile binders. Suitable for temperatures up to 90 deg C and up to 2500kPa internal pressure and typically supplied at a thickness of 1.5mm.
