EDPM Rubber Grommet Stormwater connectors

Enviropipes has designed a range of rubber grommets to provide an easy way to connect DN100 and DN150 DWV stormwater services. These grommets are designed to be used with Enviro Pipes HDPE corrugated pipe from 225 to DN750.

The following guide is recommended when installing Enviro Pipes EPDM Rubber Grommet Stormwater connectors:

• Drill hole in pipe using the Enviro Pipes hole saw. (Note: Hole center must be in the valley between corrugations.)
• Make sure the correct grommet is selected for use with the required DWV size. (Note: The marking on the grommet will provide the relevant information.)
• Insert the grommet, with the locating tabs to the outside of the pipe. (Note: Squeeze the grommet by hand, and insert the grommet with the locating tabs in the center of the valley between the corrugations)
• Mark a line on the DWV pipe showing the required insertion depth. (Note: Lightly lubricating the DWV pipe with an approved lubricant will aid insertion.)
• Insert the DWV pipe into the rubber grommet until it meets the drawn line or it engages with the stopper. (Note: Enviro Pipes Grommets have an internal stopper that stops the DWV being pushed too far.)
